About FlashCross

FlashCross is a clue-based crossword where you fill a shared grid from across and down prompts.

The current implementation uses a fixed puzzle data set, so the board layout and clue list are predefined.

How to Play

  • Select a clue from the across/down list.
  • Click the grid and type the answer.
  • Correct letters stay; wrong ones clear.
  • Complete the entire crossword to finish.
  • 📋Solve shorter words first - they intersect and reveal letters for longer ones.
  • 👁Use crossing letters to confirm uncertain answers.
  • 💡Read each clue twice - the exact phrasing often points to the answer.
